Patrice Carington

Patrice Carington is an award winning Professional Speaker that has taught communication skills to over 15,000 people throughout the United States , Canada and Australia.
Working with one of the largest training companies in the world, she designed and has taught a two-day Communicating with Diplomacy Program, since 1999. Communicating without offending is essential for teaching children how to create win/win and for maintaining the harmony, balance and equilibrium within a family. Topics include: how to keep your peace when you are under pressure, getting the information you need, negotiating, conflict resolution, persuasion, creating win/win, effective listening, calming people down when they are emotional or out of control, coaching, teambuilding and leadership.
Patrice has studied with Dr. Marshall Rosenberg, Clinical Psychologist and author of numerous books including Raising Children Compassionately, Nonviolent Communication: A Language of Life, and Teaching Children Compassionately.
In June 2004, Patrice completed a California State University Educator Certification Course. Topics included: tools for teaching children and 7 different learning styles of children. She has taught at Farb and Wilson Middle Schools as well as communication and empowerment courses at Monroe Clark Middle School.
Patrice's formal schooling is in Psychology, Leadership and Business. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of San Diego in 1989.
