Alessandra Colfi
Italian-born Alessandra Colfi is an artist and workshop facilitator. Her mixed-media art, winner of numerous awards, is displayed in galleries throughout San Diego. Through her personal experience, research and studies, Alessandra has been blending and applying her artistic and creative passion for the purpose of self-expression, emotional healing and personal growth. Being especially attuned with the therapeutic effect of art making, Alessandra obtained her Master’s Degree in Fine Art, with emphasis on Expressive Art Therapy. She facilitates her HeArt of Card Making and Expressive Arts Playshops at prominent spas (including Golden Door and Cal-a-Vie), at the finest resort hotels (including Four Seasons), as part of the Cosmikids program at The Chopra Center, Church of Today, Red Door International, and has been featured on Home & Garden TV. Alessandra serves on the Board of Directors of several art and well being-oriented educational organizations; she is constantly refining her Playshops through programs and mentoring offered by the best professionals in the field. Her vision is to inspire parents and caregivers to share the playshops with children, thus enhancing their relationships as well as providing a meaningful activity and valuable tool for introspection, self-reflection, self-expression, and transformation.
